Season Two kicked off with not one, not two, but four (yeah, we skipped three--you got the idea) blazing-hot fictioneers who blew in from the Windy City. We had couples fighting over a barbeque, took a jaunt to Thailand, hop-skipped-jumped to the red light district of Amsterdam, and wrapped it all up with a look at what the post-apocalyptic populations living in a drained Lake Michigan are up to. There were a few Asian Carps, too--not the fish that keep giving boaters black eyes, but the kind served up by the good-looking bartenders of Corez Neighborhood Eatery and Bar, and there was a full house. We're glad to be back, Grand Rapids, and we hope to see you in November, when it's Almost Dark with Richard Terrill, who reads with our very own CBer Christina Olson. Keep your eyes peeled* for posters!
